The job description is explained below but please keep in mind that, as a small business, the scope of work will likely be varied, with all members required to do whatever is necessary on any given day.

 

Warehouse Operative

Your primary goal will be to assist in the picking and packing of orders. Attention to detail, minimising errors, some knowledge of the products, and a hard working attitude are important. 

 

Employment Terms

Contract length will be 12 months with a 3 month probation period. 

Full-time: 35-40 hours/week, Mon-Fri.

Part-time: 20 hours/week, Mon-Fri.

Our minimum requirement is 4 days a week with working hours between 9am and 5pm.

 

Salary/Wages

The hourly pay for this position is £13 per hour.

 

Where You'll be Working

All work will be on location at our Newport Pagnell office. We operate from the lively iCentre full of other small businesses and you'll have access to great facilities.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to pick and pack orders. This involves:

  • Taking care and pride in packing items well for customers
  • Attention to detail and minimising errors
  • Taking into account any customer requests

Training will be provided until you feel confident in managing the whole process.

Ideally, you are someone who is excited about working in the TCG industry and looking to get stuck in! As a small business, there will be ample opportunity to expand your scope of work and responsibilities beyond this basic job description if you have the skills/attitude to take it on. 

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Good reading/writing skills to communicate via email/chat with customers
  • Computer literacy
  • Physical fitness to work on your feet through the day and handle heavy parcels
  • Willingness to learn and improve
  • Good team player

Not essential but preferred:

  • Knowledge of Pokemon/TCGs
